The Centre for Families with at-risk children (hereinafter referred to as the CFAC) covers the Social Activation Program (SAP) and the Program for Social and Legal Protection of Children (PSLPC). The CFAC helps families in difficult life situations, which can lead to the removal of their children from their home and to placing them in surrogate care. Families that use the centre’s services often face multiple problems at the same time (childcare and education, unemployment, a lack of finances or inadequate housing). We provide support to families and help them achieve the ability to independently create a safe and stimulating environment for their children’s growth and development. We work with other professionals who are involved in improving the family situation.
